Overview
Direct Support Professionals are in high demand at the Office for People With Developmental Disabilities. We recruit for these positions all year round and continuously host examinations for these positions in every region of the state.
In order to be considered for a position as a trainee, you must first fill out the Civil Service application for the DSA trainee exam, return it to the office where you want to work, sit for the exam and achieve a score of at least 70 percent. You will find all this information listed on the actual exam announcement on the NYS Civil Service website.
