Overview
The Joint Advisory Council (JAC) for Managed Care was created to provide input and make recommendations about care improvements for people with developmental disabilities and their families, and to ensure thoughtful transitions to new paths for receiving services. The JAC has been meeting since April 2013 and continues to meet quarterly to work with the Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) and the Department of Health on the development of managed care models.
