Keith Caputo

"I love makes me happy, it makes the people we help happy.” That’s why four years ago Keith Caputo founded the nonprofit organization Helping Makes U Happy.

Thanks to Keith’s personal drive and leadership, the Center Moriches organization has helped countless children and families by raising funds, collecting donations of food and clothing, filling backpacks for students, providing prom attire for teens, aiding fire victims, creating comfort cases for children removed from their homes due to neglectful situations and more. Helping Makes U Happy has grown so much, Keith has rented a building for the nonprofit that he opens for other community groups and organizations to also use.

Keith has been recognized by town, county and statewide organizations for his community service, and students at the Clayton Huey Elementary School named Keith one of the first Huey’s Heroes for his humanitarian work.

At 38 years old, Keith has two goals: to write a book to inspire others to also give back to their communities, and to meet his inspiration, Ellen DeGeneres, and tell her about his work.

And that is what makes Keith One of a Kind.
