Edwin Gonzalez

Edwin Gonzalez

Most people would feel beaten down by life after suffering with end stage renal disease for eight years – but not Edwin Gonzalez. Throughout his illness, he never lost his spirit or his passion for kindness to others, and on December 12, 2015, his zest for life grew as he received a cadaver kidney transplant that led to his improved health.

Now Edwin enjoys an active social life and is constantly working on honing his social skills with his peers.

He has enjoyed exploring all parts of his community and currently is working on job readiness skills with the hope of securing a job.

And that is what makes Edwin One of a Kind.
