Department of Neurochemistry

Investigators in the Department of Neurochemistry are carrying out basic research towards understanding the molecular mechanisms of neurodegeneration and regeneration of the brain. Greater knowledge of these mechanisms is critical to developing model therapeutic treatments for individuals with autism or Down syndrome and for adults with dementia.
