MAURA’S FAVORITE OR MOST REWARDING PART ABOUT BEING A DSP: Maura says what’s most rewarding is “the moment that you see an individual overcome the obstacles that allow him or her achieve a goal that all thought to be out of their reach”.

ABOUT MAURA: Maura is a hard worker who is known for handling her responsibilities at Jockey Street IRA with a calm, professional approach and a wonderful sense of humor. She is willing to assume additional responsibilities to assist the team in meeting goals and covering for other house leaders during their absences.  Maura accepts these responsibilities with enthusiasm and an “I can do this” attitude and is considered to be a supervisor that staff can go to for advice and conflict resolution.

Maura is a team player who will step up to any challenge in order to benefit the team and the individuals she serves. “I have been impressed by her love of her job and outstanding work ethic.  She handles all responsibilities of her position with a positive attitude and performs all tasks with high quality.  She never complains and readily accepts additional responsibilities to help the team,” said Julie Lafountain TTL.

Maura has been instrumental in facilitating good family relationships with the people she serves and has regular communication with family members
