About the Camp

Having a great time at camp! There are fun activities at camp! Fun with friends at camp!

The grounds include five divided A-frame cabins, a large building that contains the kitchen, dining halls and office, a recreation hall, nurse’s cabin, in-ground swimming pool, and director’s cabin. These buildings surround our recreation field where many events and activities are held.

Programs and Activities

At the heart of Camp Wilton is a spirit of recreation and fun which we see as a basic, inherent need for well-being. We offer four core activities daily, including favorites such as giant kickball, tie-dye tee shirts and swimming. Each evening, all of camp assembles in the recreation hall or activity field for performances, dances, or karaoke. In previous years, campers have enjoyed local entertainers including a performance by the local, internationally acclaimed band “Flame.”

Our highly-trained, attentive and enthusiastic staff design recreational and creative experiences to promote feelings of self-satisfaction and self-worth. Campers are supported to participate in activities adapted to promote individual success and Staff encourage each camper to “be the best they can be.” These activities may be available to camp attendees:

  • Aquatics in the outdoor pool (with lifeguards)
  • Arts and crafts
  • Campfires and sing-alongs
  • Team and cabin events
  • Dances
  • Music and movement
  • Recreational games and friendly competitions
  • Special events and performances
