Automated External Defibrillators (AED's)
Each year, more than 250,000 Americans die from sudden cardiac arrest.
Many of those lives can be saved with the prompt use of an AED.
263 Automated External Defibrillators (AED’S) have been distributed to public buildings occupied by the New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities.
For any questions about AED’s in your region that have been implemented in an OPWDD building, you can contact the AED Regional Coordinator for the associated DDSOO.
