Provider Association


The purpose of the Provider Association is to advise and generate ideas to further the guiding principles of the Office For People With Developmental Disabilities that aim to help individuals live richer lives, including; putting people first, maximize opportunities, promote and reward excellence, provide equity of access, nurture partnerships and collaborations and require accountability and responsibility.

The Provider Association meets with OPWDD leadership staff minimally on a monthly basis. Meetings are held at OPWDD’s Central Office in Albany, NY and members can access meetings via video conferencing from a regional DDRO video site with advance notice.  Membership is comprised of a representative from all Provider Association groups and group appointees made by the Commissioner of OPWDD.
