The Office for People With Developmental Disabilities is New York State’s second-largest state agency. OPWDD is responsible for maintaining more than 1,600 properties within 132 districts across 57 counties in the state. This includes more than 1,000 community residences and over 80 day habilitation programs. We regularly post procurement opportunities for contractors that can help us maintain our portfolio of properties and ensure the safety and well-being of the people we are entrusted with supporting.

The Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is authorized under the New York State Public Buildings Law, through the Office of General Services Design & Construction Group, to administer certain design and construction projects on behalf of New York State.
