Attached is a Request for Quote - RFQ CD 082825 for the upcoming 2025 Waste Pipe Replacement Project for O.D. Heck Campus - Building 9. Capital District DDSOO is soliciting quotes from responsible and qualified MWBE, SDVOB, or NYS Small Business contractors to perform a Waste Pipe Replacement Project for O.D. Heck Campus - Building 9 for OPWDD in Schenectady in New York State. References, experience, and applicable insurances are required. Capital District DDSOO intends to award a contract to the most responsible and responsive contractor that provides the lowest Estimated Total Cost. Prevailing wage will apply. Please note that a Site Visit is mandatory to submit a Quote. Please see RFQ for more details.
Contractor and its subcontractors must be registered with the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) and submit their Certificate of Contractor Registration at the time of the bid submission for any Article 8 project.
Pursuant to its discretionary authority under Articles 15-A and 17-B of the New York State Executive Law and State Finance Law section 160(8) – Empire State Development Corporation Certified Minority or Woman Owned Business (MWBE), New York State Office of General Services Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB), or New York State Small Businesses only. Please provide a copy of your firm's certification documents when submitting a quote.
State Finance Law §160 (8), defines the terms “small business concern” or “small business” as meaning a business which is resident in New York state, independently owned and operated, not dominant in its field, and employs one hundred or less persons.
