OPWDD Medicare Enrollment Assistance RFP
The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is seeking competitive proposals from responsible organizations interested in assisting OPWDD with the Medicare Provider Enrollment process. It is anticipated that this RFP will result in a single contract beginning September 1st, 2018, for the performance of the services described in this RFP. It is expected that the majority of services will be provided during the initial six-months; followed by revalidation, post-enrollment support, and consultation services as needed, over a period of five years. Mandatory Notice of Participation is due by March 29th, 2018 (please see Attachment One of the RFP).
The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is issuing the attached amended version of the Medicare Provider Enrollment Assistance RFP. Please note the Technical Evaluation weights, section 4.3, have been revised as follows:
4.3.1 The 25 Technical points originally assigned to the Approach have been increased to 30 Technical points.
4.3.2 The 25 Technical points originally assigned to Qualifications and Experience have been increased to 27 Technical Points.
4.3.3 The 34 Technical points originally assigned to Proposer’s References have been decreased to 33 Technical points.
4.3.4 The 8 Technical Points originally assigned to Diversity Practices/Quantitative Scoring Factor have been increased to 10 Technical Points.
The original 8 Technical points have been increased to 10 Technical points ( and the 4.8 overall points have been increased to 6 overall points) that may be awarded based on diversity practices and efforts of applicants to include New York State Certified Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) in their business practices as required in 2.3.6 of the RFP.
Bidders are directed to consider the responses and clarifications provided in the document entitled “Medicare Provider Enrollment Assistance Official Responses to Questions and RFP Modifications” along with the Amended April 13th, 2018 version of the RFP specifications and requirements when developing their proposals.
Proposals must be received by 3:00 pm on April 25th, 2018.
