New York State Mental Hygiene Law (MHL) and the federal HIPAA Privacy Rule require providers like OPWDD to protect the privacy of your clinical information/protected health information. This includes any information related to the care and treatment of an individual receiving services in the OPWDD system, or any information that would tend to identify such person.
