ABOUT RONDELL:
Telisa Grassi Hazel, Program Manager and Rondell’s supervisor, says he is very caring and hardworking.
“Rondell will come in on his days off to make plans for the people he supports, out of his own funds,” Grassi Hazel explains. “On pay weeks, he often buys breakfast, lunch or dinner for them.”
What sets him apart from his colleagues, Grassi Hazel says, is Rondell’s selflessness – many times he helps fellow coworkers in any way he can assist.
“He supports the people in his care to achieve independence,” she adds. “Rondell encourages each person to be an individual. For example, Rondell has taught one person how to cook, because that is something he told him he enjoys doing. He also taught another person how to count their change when making purchases.”
“He works long hours without any complaints, he continues to go above and beyond,” Grassi Hazel concludes
