OPWDD provides supports for you to live at home or in a home in your community so you can be as independent as possible. Everyone’s needs are different, and our goal is to help support you to live in your current home or help you find a home that best suits and supports your needs.

Money Follow the Person/ Open Doors
Are you living in an Intermediate Care Facility or large institution-style setting and interested in moving to a smaller home in the community? The Money Follows the Person program, now known as Open Doors Transition Center, provides people with help to transition from larger institutional settings to smaller community-based options.
